Welcome to Croc's Sailing

 

Croc’s Sailing Centre is a South African Sailing Academy Recognised Training Centre (one of Four in South Africa to be certified), based at Pretoria Sailing Club, situated in the Rietvlei Nature Reserve – Irene, Centurion.

 

We teach the ISAF Learn to Sail Program for Youth and Adults, using the RS Tera and RS Q’BA, purpose built training craft.

 

The ISAF Learn to Sail Program has been adopted by the South African Sailing Academy, as The South African National Sail Training Program.

 

Safety is our focus, and all training sessions are closely monitored by one of our professional South African Sailing Academy qualified Instructors in a RHIB Safety Boat.

 

We aim to provide our clients with internationally recognised qualifications from Novice to Expert.Quality (as opposed to quantity) is the goal of Croc’s Sailing Centre; we take six students per instructor, in courses which aim to be structured to the individual’s needs and safety.Courses are scheduled to run over two eight hour days, and each course is designed to increase the ability of the student.

 

Our students are trained to be “Comfortable, Competent and Content on the water” and to take away from Croc’s Sailing Centre an internationally recognised certificate from the ISAF Learn to Sail Program.

 

Once you have qualified as a sailor, you can also hire Gypsies, Lasers and 0’9ers from the fleet we manage on behalf of Pretoria Sailing Club.  

 

We are open out side club hours – Monday to Friday at your convenience; as well as during the weekends.

We also offer a boat brokering service for those wishing to sell or buy boats.
