Croc’s Sailing Centre (CSC) is managing the boat hire facilities at Pretoria Sailing Club (PSC). This includes the maintenance of the boats and the management of hiring, inspections and fee collection. The boats remain the property of PSC.

Only people with a recognised sailing qualification – SAS, ISAF, RYA etc – or have been assessed as competent by CSC will be allowed to hire boats. Assessments will be done by CSC during your first hire if required. |

No children under 8 years of age are allowed to hire boats without supervision. |

All hiring must be prearranged and paid for through CSC prior to hiring – to book please contact Richard Rushton on 083 406 4870 or boathire@CrocsSailingCentre.co.za. |

Payments for hire and deposits must be paid the day before hire. |

Boat numbers and equipment will be allocated to you and arrangements made for you to collect on the day of hire. |
|
All equipment will be signed out by the lessee and signed back in good working order to CSC. |

A personal indemnity form will be signed. |

All personal equipment, including buoyancy aid, is to be provided by the lessee. There are no PSC or CSC buoyancy aids available for use. |
|
A buoyancy aid must be worn at all times as per SAMSA regulations. |
|
A refundable deposit will be paid prior to hire and returned at the end of the day on inspection of the boat and equipment. Any damages will be deducted from this deposit. |
