Learn to Sail |
The ISAF Learn to Sail dinghy sailing courses are the perfect introduction to anyone wanting to learn to sail.
You will never forget the first time you learn to sail. Learning to sail is great fun and an opportunity for you to learn new skills. The sense of achievement you will feel when you have mastered the basics and you sail on your own for the first time will stay with you for ever.
On these courses you will get to try small boating in RS Q’BAs and RS Teras, starting with an instructor onboard to guide you, but you will quickly progress to sailing alone.
As soon as you feel confident with basic skills such as rigging, launching, landing, tacking, gybing and sailing to windward, your instructor will then coach you from a safety boat.
Finally you will experience the beauty of Rietvlei Nature Reserve, alone, from a sailing boat.
This is a great introduction to sailing.
Pre-course experience: No previous experience required. |
